Jaz Enterprise To Present 10th Annual Haitian All-Star Concert In New York Featuring Headliners CaRiMi, Klass And T-Vice NEW YORK, NY, January 8, 2015 – Jaz Enterprise today announced the 10th Anniversary celebration for La Nuit Des Jeunes, one of the longest-running live entertainment productions in the United States to showcase Haiti’s contemporary music and culture. The all-star concert is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at New York’s Amazura Concert Hall, the original home of the inaugural La Nuit Des Jeunes. Top artists in Haitian music will commemorate the ground-breaking occasion, including triple headliners CaRiMi, Klass and T-Vice. Guest band X-Tassy, DJ Stakz and DJ Hot Sauce will also take center stage. Popular host Jean Claude Junior Vaval will serve as emcee of the epic event. “2015 marks the 10th year since La Nuit Des Jeunes was founded as a premier showcase in the U.S. for Haitian music and culture,” said Evens Blaise of Jaz Enterprise. “It’s an honor to celebrate this milestone with our supporters and leading artists who are going to put on a great show for all Konpa fans.” Three of today’s most sought-after Haitian bands are slated to perform. CaRiMi continues to conquer the World Music charts with their latest album “Invasion.” Recently voted “2014 Group of the Year” by Kompa Magazine, Klass’ debut release “Fe’l Vini Avan” is at the top of playlists. T-Vice is building upon their legacy as iconic hit makers with the brand new album “Reloaded.” Hailing from Miami and representing a younger generation of Konpa music, guest band X-Tassy will play songs from their freshman album “Motivation.” DJ Stakz, who has been crowned New York’s best DJ by his loyal followers, and Philadelphia favorite DJ Hot Sauce will also hit the stage on the momentous night.
Over the past ten years, La Nuit Des Jeunes has featured memorable showstoppers, including: 5Lan; Black Dada; CaRiMi; Cruz-La; Djakout Mizik; Dola Mizik; Harmonik; Izolan; J-Perry; Kreyol La; Krezi Mizik; Martine Marseille; Melodie; Mikaben; Nia; Nu Look; Rafrechi; Shabba of Djakout #1; T-Vice; U-Turn; Wanito; Zouk sensations Nelson Freitas, Fanny J, Princess Lover, Tina and Warren; Hip-Hop artist Jim Jones; Soca Queen Alison Hinds; and Reggae/Dancehall star Sean Paul, among others. The annual affair has been held at prominent New York City concert venues, such as the famed Hammerstein Ballroom, Roseland Ballroom and Terminal 5. The advance ticket price for the 2015 edition of La Nuit Des Jeunes is $35.
